Our church works with a number of ministries, each providing opportunities for you to get involved and be a part of God’s work through His people. But sometimes you might hear the name of an organization or ministry and might not be familiar with what they do. Well, here you go!

Changed Lives Christian Center (CLCC)

1308 26th Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35204  •  (205) 521-6421  •  website

Changed Lives Christian Center (CLCC) is a Christ-centered ministry, managed by and in partnership with the Foundry, offering transitional housing for men wanting to break the cycle of homelessness in their lives.

Whether their homelessness is from the economic recession or other personal issues such as substance abuse and/or mental illness, CLCC aims to do more than just manage their homeless by feeding and sheltering them overnight or for a short time. They seek to take individuals who are presently homeless and weave them back into the fabric of productive society, holding them accountable in areas of substance abuse so they can get back on their feet.

Presently we sponsor groups to go to CLCC twice a month to prepare and serve a meal, usually on a Sunday and Saturday at 5:30pm. For current opportunities visit the Link Update page.

The Nest Medical Clinic

1308 26th Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35204

This is a service provided by Changed Lives Christian Center at its facility to its residents and others, providing free, non-emergency medical attention. Medical and non-medical volunteers are sought to minister to the needs of the patients.

Presently we sponsor a group that goes to CLCC once a month for this service, usually on a Tuesday evening at 5:30pm. For current opportunities visit the Link Update page.
