    The Preschool department at First Baptist Church Trussville is a great place to build foundations of faith. You’ll find lots of activities for your preschooler that will help them as they start to develop a spiritual understanding and you’ll find activities that will connect you with other parents.

Our vision for preschool is threefold:

1. To lay a spiritual foundation for preschoolers through Bible thoughts and stories.
2. To provide a safe and secure environment with loving and caring teachers.
3. To attract and reach not only preschoolers but their families with the Gospel.

In everything that we do, preschoolers (birth through kindergarten) are taught according to their age and level of ability. Even the youngest child sees and touches the Bible, hears teachers talk to God, learns of God’s love, shares his feelings with those around him, and begins to associate happy, secure feelings with church and friends at church.

  Sunday Mornings
 Sunday School •  9:15 AM
 Sunday School is a major part of the preschool experience at our church. Preschoolers hear about Jesus in ways they can understand all while learning that church is a loving, fun place.

Extended Care  •  10:45 AM
 While mom and dad are in worship or their own Sunday School class, Extended Care takes place for babies thru fours in the morning.  Loving volunteers take over after Sunday School, continuing to teach Bible truths during this important time.  Volunteers are parents of preschoolers and other loving adults who give of their time to this important ministry.

   Sunday Evenings

 Sunday nights are filled with song as we get ready for our next musical. Currently we're working on
It's Cool In The Furnace, a fun account of the Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego story. Make plans now to be in attendance for the presentation on Sunday, May 2nd in the 6:00pm evening service!		   Wednesdays
Mission Friends  •  6:00 PM
Activities, crafts, music and memory verses are part of the evening, the preschool portion of FBCT's Wednesday night lineup. Lots of fun is planned as we learn what it means to live a life on mission for God.  		 
             
             
         

 

  
  Weekday Early Education (WEE) Center
At the Wee Center, our objective is to provide a positive learning experience where preschoolers can make choices and participate in developmentally appropriate activities in a safe Christian environment. Programs are offered Monday through Friday for ages 12 weeks all the way through K5. We strive to provide a secure nurturing environment allowing children to acquire critical skills needed for kindergarten and life.
