Austin came on staff at First Baptist in May 2021. He graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Business Management (Roll Tide) and recently graduated with a M.DIV from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also interned with the Children’s Ministry during college and loved every second of it!

Austin married his wife, Kathryn, in 2017 and hasn't had a dull moment since! They love to spend as much time as they can outdoors, walking their dog Ranger, hiking, and camping. He also loves to run and play disc golf. His favorite afternoon snack is a sneaky Pete slaw dog or a sleeve of Oreos.
