Originally from Decatur, AL, Jeff Gardner was her youth pastor growing up! She also served as an intern here at First Baptist in 2009.

Liz would go on to the University of Alabama to graduate with a degree in Secondary Education English Language Arts. 

She would later meet and marry her husband, Tyler in 2012...a Trussville native. Together they have 3 kids - twin boys and a little girl. The couple worked in ministry as youth pastors for 10 years, moving back to Trussville in 2021. 

When she's not helping make the Missions Ministry run, she loves to read books, work out, and spend quality time with her family (including her fur baby, Gus).
