England Day 5

It has been another amazing day here in England! Today was our last day at the mission sites we have been working at all week, and praise the Lord for multiple salvations! The kids finished up their service projects at King's Church and then wrapped up Camp of Champions before joining the youth group's Wednesday night at Jubilee Church. Colton, Jacob, Lainey, Lilly, and Alleigh each spoke today to one of the groups we were with, either sharing their testimony or something the Lord has been teaching them. Keep reading to hear about the day from the kids:

"Today was our last day at Camp of Champions. All three days my team has only had one kid, which has been a challenge, but we have gotten to know him well. Today I got to lead him in prayer to accept Christ into his heart. This moment was such a beautiful picture of how planted seeds can grow into salvation and was a really cool moment for me and my team. The Lord is working in so many different ways on this trip and He is blowing our minds with the things He is teaching us!" - Lainey O'Dell

"What I thought was really cool was just being able to go up in front of that group of kids and kind of be someone they can look up to, even if it was for a short period of time, and being able to spread the Word, even as simple as talking about the bracelets we get at camp. I also really like and was touched by a kid who came up to me after that where he told me he got my bracelet that I threw into the crowd. He also told me he was a born again Christian, which is pretty rare where we are and he showed me a video of him getting baptized. It just shows that there is still hope and that Jesus is around because that’s a kid who even when we leave can be plugged into the church and can help plant seeds and lead his friends to Christ as well." - Colton Argo

"Today we had our last day of Camp of Champions. Lilly, Colton, Breck, and I had the opportunity to build relationships with the kids on our team and it was really impactful. We had a young boy pray over us to close out the week and that was really special and we also had a young boy that was a non-believer tell us that he had started to pray after camp. It’s been amazing to see God working and just how powerful prayer is!" - Alleigh Benton

Thank you so much for all of your prayers. Tomorrow we will be going through the town of Stockton and talking to the people there before we board our train to London. Please pray for the Lord to soften the hearts of those we will be talking with, and for safe travels to London.
