Health and Wellness Event
Thursday March 12

You’re invited—and so are your friends and neighbors—to attend the second annual Health & Wellness Event at FBCT Thursday, March 12, 2:00-7:00pm.  Doctors and other medical professionals will be on hand to address concerns frequent in SAM-age people and to discuss ways of treating or preventing common health problems. Vendors, including home health care agencies, caregiver assistance, orthopedics, cardiology, small medical equipment repair, massage therapy and others will also be there to provide information on their products or services.

“This event is being sponsored by our seasoned adult ministry, but it covers concerns common at several stages of life,” said Gail Stewart, “Know” leader for the SAM team. “So caregivers, family members and other guests are welcome.”

Doors will open at 2:00pm to give visitors time to review schedules, find locations and visit vendors before programs begin. There is no admission charge.

Comedian Mickey Bell

Pastor-comedian Mickey Bell will be at FBCT Thursday, March 26, for the monthly SAM luncheon. A performer since age 10, Bell proves that you don’t have to use crude language to produce laughs. Bell just takes a look around our churches and our world in general to find plenty of comic material. Although he generates lots of laughs, he also brings a testimony of second chances and redemption that reaches audiences of all ages.

The monthly SAM luncheon will be in the gym, with the program beginning at 10:30. Tickets are $6 per person for fellowship, entertainment and a tasty lunch.
