Community Mission Partners
Community Mission Partners
Missions are the DO opportunities with the specific goal - to proclaim the Gospel to those who are unchurched. There are tons of ways you can help do this - from feeding the hungry to building a church. Many of these mission opportunities happen outside the walls of the church. A clear goal of every mission experience is to meet direct personal needs for someone or some group in order to develop relationships which make it possible to evangelize and help them commit their lives to Christ.

YMCA

For children who rely on free or reduced lunch during the school year, Summer Break leaves a gap in food security. The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama estimates that 100,000+ lose access to food during summer break. The YMCA of Greater Birmingham is committed to serving families who face this reality. Returning in Summer 2026, the YMCA is delivering free food to residential communities identified as food insecure.
