Kelsey is a Trussville Native who grew up going to FBCT. She began her time on staff with us as the Student Ministry Assistant in the Fall of 2014, but her love for preschoolers and enthusiasm soon made her the obvious choice to take over at Director of Preschool Ministries.

A product of Hewitt-Trussville High School, Kelsey graduated from Auburn in Human Development and Family Studies, later marrying her high school sweetheart, Matt Walk in May of 2014. Matt and Kelsey have 3 wonderful (and very lively) children: Rylee Jo, Bo and Cal.

Outside of ministry, Kelsey loves hiking, camping and watching her kids play sports.
