EQUIP The Chronically Unemployed

About Hope Inspired Ministries

Hope Inspired Ministries (HIM) is a faith-based, local non-profit designed to train chronically unemployed men and women to obtain and maintain employment. We at HIM believe the best way to help the poor is to train them how to become self-sufficient by utilizing the gifts and abilities that our Creator has bestowed upon each of them. In doing so, we hope to bring honor to our God by the transformation that He produces in our students!

“You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.” Psalm 128:2

Frequently Asked Questions

How can my kids serve the homeless? - While many homeless shelters do not allow children to serve a meal, some do. There are other ways that you can teach your children about poverty and how to serve the homeless, if you cannot get them in to serve with a shelter. One great way to teach them is to create homeless kits with them and carry them in the car with you. When you encounter a homeless person, remind your child of the pur- pose of the bag and have them help you give it out.
