First Baptist works with several Church Plants and ministry partners across the globe. We plan trips throughout the year to serve side by side with our missionaries, church plant pastors and ministry partners.

But the Holy Spirit will come on you and give you power. You will be my witnesses. You will tell people everywhere about me—in Jerusalem, in the rest of Judea, in Samaria, and in every part of the world.” Acts 1:8

Planned 2024 National Trips:

• Men on Mission - June 8-15 - $250 - Assist in building a church
• Mississippi Delta - Early June - exact dates TBD - $300 - Working with our mission’s partner in the delta region to provide Vacation Bible School to two churches.
• Alaska - June 21 - 28 - JAM Camp - Laverne Griffin Camp, Wasilla, AK - $2500
  This co-ed Jesus, Arts, & Music camp offers two tracks! The JAM, or kids track, is for those entering 5th grade - 8th grade. The Super JAM, or students track, is for those entering 9th grade - 12th grade. The leadership team is comprised of music and arts professionals who have years of experience in guiding young people to experience God. This week offers a variety of exciting elective classes in music and arts such as drama, photography, wood working, worship leadership, worship technology, art, guitar, percussion, song writing and more. Plus, ALL that our other camps have to offer!
• Alaska - July 20 - 27 - Grace Works, Anchorage, AK - $2500
  Our summer 2024 campaign will provide experienced mission volunteers with the opportunity to make a tangible, lasting difference by working directly with unchurched children, youth, and adults in local public parks. Our activities enable volunteers to help people in need by offering meals to the hungry, Bible Lessons, recreation, games, and crafts. Our partnerships with local churches make this all possible.
• Alaska - August 30 - Sept 6 (exact dates TBD) - Construction work at Laverne Griffin Camp, Wasilla, AK - $2500
  We will work at the camp on projects that will help expand and restore the camp facilities for the next year.

Planned 2024/2025 International Trips:

• Kenya - Jan. 13 - 25, 2024 - Medical mission trip (trip is full)
• Costa Rica - March 23 - 28, 2024 (trip is full)
• Thailand - June 16 - 29, 2024 - $3500 - Teaching Conversational English as a second language to Thai students and adults.
• Kenya - January 2025 - $3000 - Medical Evangelistic Trip with Jesus Harvesters Ministry
