Meet Our Team
Matt Galloway
Children's Minister
Matt first joined our Ministry Team as a Children’s Ministry intern in 2013, then joined full-time in the Children’s Ministry a year later. Matt is the oldest of the two Galloway boys, his brother a worship leader and student at Auburn University.
He graduated from Samford University in 2011 with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing, and graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School in 2014.
Matt enjoys anything competitive, including games, running, cycling, disc golf…anything. And if he could have any superpower it would be the ability to create anything out of thin air!
Rachel Dickey
Preschool & Children's Ministry Associate
Rachel joined our staff in the winter of 2019. She originally hails from Grapevine, Texas, but an opportunity to play volleyball led her across country to UNC-Asheville where she later graduated with a business degree in 2011.
While at school in North Carolina she met her husband Matt, who played basketball there. Matt’s roots here in Trussville eventually led them back home, and that’s why we get to be blessed by Rachel today! She and Matt have two active sons together! Matt is our Minister to Middle School Students.
When she’s not heading up day-to-day operations for the preschool and children’s ministries, Rachel loves spending time with her family and friends, and watching movies and playing volleyball when she has time.
